After many months of searching, Dan found his dream home – well it will be when it’s finished!
As well as offering a range of commercial and domestic carpentry services, we also enjoy working on our own projects and are really excited to be working on Dan’s first home, which is going to be another exciting house renovation in Maidstone. This end of terrace property in Barming was a lucky find and D&T Carpentry and Construction have the skills to make it a dream home.
Similar to the 1930 semi-detached in Bearsted, we have been able to start from scratch on this property. The house hadn’t been touched for many years and most of the features are original. However, the floor boards were rotten and we have had to more or less gut the whole property.
The weather in February/March has been awful, making conditions pretty tough, but we have a great team and delighted that the roof is now finished. Looking forward to spending time during the next four or so months building dormas, knocking down walls, putting up ceilings, landscaping and making the place ready to move in to before Autumn!
